O holy Sampson, imitator of God's compassion,/ thou dost pour forth streams of divine goodness./ For radiant with God's love/ thou didst relieve the afflicted and suffering,/ and dost grant eternal healing to all who honour thee.

Through your patience, your unceasing prayer, your love for the poor and the help you gave to them, / you became worthy of your reward, O holy Sampson. / Intercede with Christ God that He may save our souls.

In thy patience, O venerable father, thou didst acquire thy reward,/ having endured in prayer without ceasing, and loved the poor and provided for them.// Beseech Christ God O merciful and blessed Sampson, that our souls be saved.

Ὁ φέρων τὴν μίμησιν, τῶν τοῦ Θεοῦ οἰκτίρμων, ἐνθέου χρηστότητος, ἀναβλυσταίνεις κρουνούς, Σαμψὼν ἱερώτατε· σὺ γὰρ θεομιμήτῳ, ἐλλαμφθεὶς συμπαθείᾳ, ὤφθης τῶν τεθλιμένων, καὶ πασχόντων ἀκέστωρ, παρέχων ἑνὶ ἑκάστῳ, ῥῶσιν καὶ ἔλεος.

O best loved disciple and successor of Ireland's Enlightener,
thy God-bIessed witness for our saving Faith, is sorely needed,
most reverend Hierarch Benen. Entreat Christ our God
that He will raise up new disciples to bring thy native land out of this present Dark Age
and restore it to the True Light of Orthodoxy
for the salvation of men's souls.
Apolytikion of St CYRIL Loukaris — Tone 1
The luminary of Crete, scion of Agarathos, shepherd of Alexandria, president of Byzantium, divine Cyril let us the faithful honor, as a firm champion of the faith, and divinely glorified communicant of Martyrs, crying out: Glory to Him Who gave you strength, glory to Him Who made you wondrous, glory to Him on high Who made you glorious, glorifying you Holy One.

We flock to thy shrine as to a most excellent physician, O righteous, holy Sampson./ We come together to praise thee with psalms and hymns/ and we glorify Christ Who has gifted thee with healing.

When Thou didst speak to the Myrrhbearing women with joy, Thou didst end the wailing of Eve the first mother, by Thy Resurrection, commanding Thy disciples to proclaim that the Savior is risen from the tomb.

Unconquerable athlete of the patriarchs, you were put to death by the envious hands of the Hagarenes, showing yourself, O Cyril, to be sown by God. Wherefore an unfading crown was conveyed to you, cease not to direct your intercessions, on behalf of those who cry out: Rejoice, victorious Father.
