HOLY MARTYR SEBASTIAN AND THOSE WITH HIM
Apolytikion of ST SEBASTIAN and Companions— Tone 1
O Sebastian, thou didst spurn the gatherings of the wicked, and bring together the illustrious martyrs who with thee cast down the enemy. Deemed worthy of the Divine Presence, thou dost gladden those who cry to thee: Glory to Him Who has strengthened thee; glory to Him Who has crowned thee; glory to Him Who through thee works healings for all.

O Sebastian, spurning the assemblies of the wicked, / You gathered the wise martyrs / Who with you cast down the enemy; / And standing worthily before the throne of God, / You gladden those who cry to you: / Glory to him who has strengthened you! / Glory to him who has granted you a crown! / Glory to him who through you works healing for all!
Troparion of ST SEBASTIAN and Companions — Tone 4
Your holy martyrs, O Lord, / through their suffering have received incorruptible crowns from You, our God. / For having Your strength, they laid low their adversaries, / and shattered the powerless boldness of demons. / Through their intercessions save our souls!

In their sufferings, O Lord,/ Thy martyrs received imperishable crowns from Thee our God;/ for, possessed of Thy might,/ they set at nought the tormentors and crushed the feeble audacity of the demons.// By their supplications save Thou our souls.

Συγκλήτου σφαλλομένης παριδὼν τὰ συνέδρια, Σεβαστιανὲ πανολβίαν, συναγείρεις συνέλευσιν, Μαρτύρων ἀληθῶς πανευκλεῶν, σὺν σοὶ καταβαλόντων τὸν ἐχθρόν, μεθ’ ὧν θείας συναυλίας ἀξιωθείς, φαιδρύνεις τοὺς βοῶντάς σοι· δόξα τῷ δεδωκότι σοι ἰσχύν, δόξα τῷ σὲ στεφανώσαντι, δόξα τῷ ἐνεργοῦντι διὰ σοῦ, πᾶσιν ἰάματα.

A hand-wrought image ye would not worship, O thrice-blessed ones; but armed by the Indepictable Essence, ye were glorified in your ordeal by fire. Standing in the midst of the irresistible flame, ye called upon God: Speed Thou, O Compassionate One, and hasten, since Thou art merciful, to come unto our aid, for Thou art able, if it be Thy will.

Excelling in godly zeal, / you gathered a band of martyrs from which you shone as a star. / The arrows that wounded your body, O Sebastian, / pierced the hearts of the enemy. / Therefore Christ has glorified you!

Τῆς εὐσεβείας διαπρέπων τῷ ζήλῳ, μαρτυρικὸν συνασπισμὸν συναγείρεις, ὧν ἐν τῷ μέσῳ ἤστραψας ὡς ἄστρον φαεινόν· ὅθεν καὶ τοῖς βέλεσιν, οἷς ἐτρώθης τὸ σῶμα, τοῦ ἐχθροῦ κατέτρωσας, τὴν καρδίαν καιρίως, Μεγαλομάρτυς Σεβαστιανέ· ὅθεν Χριστός σε, ἐνθέως ἐδόξασε.
