From earth a heavenly song is sung:/ in heaven the Angels celebrate an earthly festival./ From on high they chant the praise of thy contests:/ from below the Church proclaims thy heavenly glory/ which flows from thy struggles, O Phanurios.
Troparion of St PHANURIOS — Tone 4
A heavenly song of praise is chanted radiantly upon the earth / The company of angels now joyfully celebrates an earthly festival, / And from on high with hymns they praise your contests, / And from below, the church proclaims the heavenly glory / which you have found by your labors and struggles, / O glorious Phanourius.
Ἀπολυτίκιον. Ἅγιος ΦΑΝΟΎΡΙΟΣ — Ἦχος δ’. Ταχὺ προκατάλαβε
Ὡς ἄστρον ἀνέτειλας, τῇ Ἐκκλησίᾳ Χριστοῦ, καὶ πάντας κατηύγασας, φανερωθεὶς θαυμαστῶς, Φανούριε ἔνδοξε· ὅθεν τοῖς εὔφημοῦσι, τὴν σὴν ἄθλησιν Μάρτυς, νέμεις τῶν σῶν θαυμάτων, τῆν σωτήριον χάριν, πρεσβεύων τῷ Κυρίῳ, ὑπὲρ τῶν ψυχῶν ἡμῶν.

Thy mind was illumined with the light of divine works/ and thou wast an unfading lamp of discernment;/ for thou didst dispel the darkness of passions and illuminate our minds./ O righteous Pimen,/ pray to Christ our God to grant us His great mercy.

By a flood of tears you made the desert fertile, / and your longing for God brought forth fruits in abundance. / By the radiance of miracles you illumined the whole universe! / Our Father Pimen, pray to Christ God to save our souls!

With the streams of thy tears thou didst irrigate the barren desert,/ and with sighs from the depths of thy soul thou didst render thy labors fruitful an hundredfold,/ and becamest a beacon for the whole world, resplendent with miracles.// O Poemen our father, entreat Christ God, that our souls be saved.

Θείων ἔργων σου, τῇ δᾳδουχίᾳ, λαμπρυνόμενος, τῇ διανοίᾳ, διακρίσεως φωστὴρ ὤφθης ἄδυτος, διασκεδάζων παθῶν τὴν σκοτόμαιναν, καὶ καταυγάζων ἡμῶν τὰ νοήματα. Ποιμὴν Ὅσιε, Χριστὸν τὸν Θεὸν ἱκέτευε, δωρήσασθαι ἡμῖν τὸ μέγα ἔλεος.
