TRIUMPH OF ORTHODOXY Apolytikion ― Tone 1
O Christ our God, begging forgiveness of our sins, we venerate your pure image O Good One. Of Your own will You condescended to ascend upon the Cross in the flesh and delivered those you created from the bondage of the enemy. Wherefore, thankfully we cry out: When You came to save the world You filled all things with joy, O our Savior.
TRIUMPH OF ORTHODOXY Troparion ― Tone 2
We worship Thy immaculate Image, O Good One, and ask forgiveness of our sins, O Christ God; for of Thy own will Thou wast pleased to ascend the Cross in the flesh, to deliver from slavery to the enemy those whom Thou hadst created. Therefore we thankfully cry to Thee: Thou hast filled all things with joy, O our Saviour, by coming to save the world.

Troparion of ST GERASIMOS of Jordan ― Tone 1
Thou didst shine as a desert dweller, a summit of ascetics and a reflection of the angelic life;/ thou wast made radiant with the light of the Spirit,/ O Gerasimos, adornment of the righteous./ Therefore thou healest unfailingly those who cry:/ Glory to Him Who has strengthened thee; glory to Him Who has crowned thee;/ glory to Him Who through thee works healings for all.
Apolytikion of ST GERASIMOS of Jordan ― Tone 1
Thou didst prove to be a citizen of the desert, an angel in the flesh, and a wonderworker, O Gerasimos, our God-bearing Father. By fasting, vigil, and prayer thou didst obtain heavenly gifts, and thou healest the sick and the souls of them that have recourse to thee with faith. Glory to Him that hath given thee strength. Glory to Him that hath crowned thee. Glory to Him that worketh healings for all through thee.
Troparion of ST GERASIMOS of Jordan ― Tone 1
Dweller of the desert and angel in the body, / you were shown to be a wonderworker, our God-bearing Father Gerasimus. / You received heavenly gifts through fasting, vigil, and prayer: / healing the sick and the souls of those drawn to you by faith. / Glory to Him who gave you strength! / Glory to Him who granted you a crown! / Glory to Him who through you grants healing to all!
Apolytikion of ST GERASIMOS of Jordan ― Tone 1

●
TRIUMPH OF ORTHODOXY Kontakion ― Plagal Tone 4
The undepictable Word of the Father became depictable when He took flesh of you, O Theotokos; and when He had restored the defiled image to its ancient state, He suffused it with divine beauty. As for us, confessing our salvation, we record it in deed and word.
TRIUMPH OF ORTHODOXY Kontakion ― Tone 8
The illimitable Word of the Father accepted limitations by incarnation from thee, O Mother of God; and He transformed our defiled image to its original state and transfused it with the divine beauty. But we confess and give thanks for our salvation, and we proclaim it by deed and word.
• • •
Kontakion of ST GERASIMOS of Jordan ― Tone 4
Aflame with heavenly love/ thou didst prefer the desert's hardship to all the pleasures of the world./ Wherefore a wild creature served thee and became obedient till death./ God glorified thee with signs and miracles:/ in thy prayers remember us also, O Godbearing Father Gerasimos.
Kontakion of ST GERASIMOS of Jordan ― Tone 4
Father, you burned with heavenly love, / preferring the harshness of the Jordan desert to all the delights of the world. / Therefore, a wild beast served you until your death; he died in obedience / in grief on your grave. / Thus God has glorified you, / and when you pray to Him / remember us, Father Gerasimus.
Kontakion of ST GERASIMOS of Jordan ― Tone 4
As a star resplendent with the light of virtues, thou didst make the wilderness of Jordan radiantly shine with beams of sacred celestial light, O Venerable Father, God-bearing Gerasimos.
Kontakion of ST GERASIMUS of Jordan ― Tone 4 "Having been lifted up"
Burning with heavenly love, thou didst prefer the harshness of the desert of Jordan/ more than all the delights of the world;/ hence, a wild beast submitted unto thee even unto thy death, O father,/ dying in obedience and grief on thy grave./ Thus did God glorify thee./ And when thou dost pray to Him, O father Gerasimus,// be thou mindful of us.

Kontakion of ST GISTILIAN Tone 5
Truly we hymn thee, O Father Gistilian,/ for thou didst labour to strengthen the church in Wales,/ giving thy life to this noble and God-pleasing cause./ Ever blessing thy memory,/ we implore thy prayers for us sinners.
• • •
Kontakion of ST PATRICK ― Tone 4
The Master revealed thee as a skillful fisher of men; and casting forth nets of Gospel preaching, thou drewest up the heathen to piety. Those who were the children of idolatrous darkness thou didst render sons of day through holy Baptism. O Patrick, intercede for us who honour thy memory.
Kontakion of ST PATRICK ― Tone 4
From slavery you escaped to freedom in Christ’s service: / He sent you to deliver Ireland from the devil’s bondage. / You planted the Word of the Gospel in pagan hearts. / In your journeys and hardships you rivaled the Apostle Paul! / Having received the reward for your labors in heaven, / Never cease to pray for the flock you have gathered on earth, / Holy bishop Patrick!

A Prayer that St Patrick is known for, it’s called "THE BREASTPLATE OF ST PATRICK"
I bind unto myself today
the strong Name of the Trinity,
by invocation of the same,
the Three in One, and One in Three.
I bind this day to me for ever,
by power of faith, Christ’s Incarnation;
his baptism in Jordan river;
his death on cross for my salvation;
his bursting from the spicèd tomb;
his riding up the heavenly way;
his coming at the day of doom:
I bind unto myself today.
I bind unto myself the power
of the great love of cherubim;
the sweet "Well done" in judgment hour;
the service of the seraphim;
confessors' faith, apostles' word,
the patriarchs' prayers, the prophets' scrolls;
all good deeds done unto the Lord,
and purity of virgin souls.
I bind unto myself today
the virtues of the starlit heaven
the glorious sun's life-giving ray,
the whiteness of the moon at even,
the flashing of the lightning free,
the whirling wind's tempestuous shocks,
the stable earth, the deep salt sea,
around the old eternal rocks.
I bind unto myself today
the power of God to hold and lead,
his eye to watch, his might to stay,
his ear to hearken, to my need;
the wisdom of my God to teach,
his hand to guide, his shield to ward;
the word of God to give me speech,
his heavenly host to be my guard.
Christ be with me,
Christ within me,
Christ behind me,
Christ before me,
Christ beside me,
Christ to win me,
Christ to comfort
and restore me.
Christ beneath me,
Christ above me,
Christ in quiet,
Christ in danger,
Christ in hearts of
all that love me,
Christ in mouth of
friend and stranger.
I bind unto myself today
the strong Name of the Trinity,
by invocation of the same,
the Three in One, and One in Three.
Of whom all nature hath creation,
eternal Father, Spirit, Word:
praise to the Lord of my salvation,
salvation is of Christ the Lord.
