Apolytikion of the Martyrs of Corinth ― Tone 4
Thy Martyrs, O Lord, in their courageous contest for Thee received as the prize the crowns of incorruption and life from Thee, our immortal God. For since they possessed Thy strength, they cast down the tyrants and wholly destroyed the demons' strengthless presumption. O Christ God, by their prayers, save our souls, since Thou art merciful.

Only Creator, with wisdom profound, You mercifully order all things, / and give that which is needed to all men: / Give rest, O Lord, to the souls of Your servants who have fallen asleep, / for they have placed their trust in You, our Maker and Fashioner, and our God.

Ἐξάριθμος χορός, τῶν Χριστοῦ Ἀθλοφόρων, ὑμνείσθω εὐσεβῶς, μελωδίαις ᾀσμάτων, Κοδρᾶτος καὶ Ἄνεκτος, Παῦλος καὶ Διονύσιος, καὶ σὺν Κρήσκεντι, Κυπριανὸς ὁ θεόφρων· τὴν Τριάδα γάρ, διηνεκῶς δυσωποῦσιν, ὑπὲρ τῶν ψυχῶν ἡμῶν.

Ὁ Μάρτυς σου Κύριε, ἐν τῇ ἀθλήσει αὐτοῦ, τὸ στέφος ἐκομίσατο τῆς ἀφθαρσίας, ἐκ σοῦ τοῦ Θεοῦ ἡμῶν· ἔχων γὰρ τὴν ἰσχύν σου, τοὺς τυράννους καθεῖλεν ἔθραυσε καὶ δαιμόνων τὰ ἀνίσχυρα θράση. Αὐτοῦ ταῖς ἱκεσίαις Χριστέ ὁ Θεός, σῶσον τὰς ψυχὰς ἡμῶν.

Thy life was resplendent with miracles, O Hierarch Kessog,/ and as thou didst devote thy life to missionary labours,/ teach us the way to devote our lives to the service of the Church/ that Christ our God will have mercy on our souls.

Your holy martyrs, O Lord, / Through their sufferings have received incorruptible crowns from You, our God. / For having Your strength, they laid low their adversaries, / And shattered the powerless boldness of demons. / Through their intercessions, save our souls!

Ἅγιος ΜΙΧΑὴΛ ― Ἀπολυτίκιον ― Ἦχος α´. Τῆς ἐρήμου πολίτης
Σοφίᾳ τῇ θεόθεν δεδομένῃ κοσμούμενος, ἐκήρυξας εὐτόλμως τοῦ Σωτῆρος τὸ ὄνομα, καὶ τούτῳ ὡς θυσία καθαρά, προσήχθης τῷ πυρὶ τελειωθείς· διὰ τοῦτο Νεομάρτυς σε Μιχαήλ, τιμῶμεν ἀνακράζοντες· δόξα τῷ παρασχόντι σοι ἰσχύν, δόξα τῷ σὲ στεφανώσαντι, δόξα τῷ χορηγοῦντι διὰ σοῦ, ἡμῖν πταισμάτων ἄφεσιν.

When you contested bravely in Corinth, O wise Martyrs,/ you appeared as lamps of six lights;/ you ever illumine the way for Christ's faithful by the grace that was given to you.

With the saints give rest, O Christ, to the souls of Your servants, / where there is neither sickness nor sorrow, and no more sighing, / but life everlasting.

Ὡς λαμπάς ἑξάφωτος ἐν τῇ Κορίνθῳ, καρτερῶς ἀθλήσαντες, ὤφθητε Μάρτυρες σοφοί, φωταγωγοῦντες ταῖς χάρισι, τῆς Ἐκκλησίας ἀπαύστως τό πλήρωμα.

That God is not served by idleness is the message of thy life, O Wonderworker Kessog./ For thy ceaseless efforts thou art rewarded in heaven/ and this day art praised by the Lord's lazy and most unprofitable servants.

Ἀθλητὴς θεόσοφος, καὶ στρατιώτης γενναῖος, Μιχαὴλ μακάριε, Χριστοῦ ἀθλήσας ἐδείχθης· πᾶσαν γάρ, καταπατήσας ἐχθροῦ μανίαν, ἤνεγκας, τὸν ἐν πυρὶ θάνατον χαίρων, καὶ ὡς θεῖον ἱερεῖον, Χριστῷ προσήχθης, τῷ σὲ δοξάσαντι.

Χαίροις ὁ Γρανίτσης θεῖος βλαστός, ὁ Χριστὸν δόξασας, δι’ ἀθλήσεως θαυμαστῆς· χαίροις ὁ Κυρίῳ προσενεχθεὶς ὡς θῦμα, ὦ Μιχαὴλ ἐνέγκας, πυρὸς τὴν ἔκκαυσιν.
