We acclaim you, kinsman of Christ, Simeon, / as a great hierarch and steadfast martyr, / for you eradicated error and kept the Faith. / Today, as we celebrate your memory, / we receive forgiveness of sins through your prayers.

In sacred manner do we praise thee, O sacred hierarch Symeon,/ as the kinsman of Christ and a steadfast martyr/ who destroyed deception and kept the Faith./ Wherefore, celebrating today thy most holy memory,// we receive remission of sins through thy supplications.
Apolytikion of ST SIMEON ― Tone 1
We sacredly acclaim thee as Jesus Christ's kinsman, and as His steadfast Martyr, O all-lauded Hierarch. For bravely hast thou destroyed all deception and kept the faith. Hence, O Symeon, we keep thy holy remembrance on this festive day; and by thy prayers, we are granted the pardon of grievous sins.

Divine offspring and ornament of Kalamata, Venerable Martyr Elias worthy of wonder, you truly showed yourself to be in the might of judgment, which you exercised in a sacred manner, and contested bravely, on behalf of Christ the Savior; entreat Him without ceasing, to have mercy on our souls.
