Holy Father Theodore, / you were a temple of abstinence and a vessel of dispassion; / you served God by your works, / and were found worthy of His gifts. / Now pray to Christ our God to grant us His great mercy.

The image of God, was faithfully preserved in you, O Father. For you took up the Cross and followed Christ. By Your actions you taught us to look beyond the flesh for it passes, rather to be concerned about the soul which is immortal. Wherefore, O Holy Theodore, your soul rejoices with the angels.

Thou didst treasure the wealth of salvation/ and hate unjust gains, O blessed Zacchaeus./ When the Saviour came to thy house thou didst bring forth the fruits of repentance:/ the righting of wrongs, protection of the poor,/ and a new God-pleasing life.

Having justly hated unjust riches, thou didst lay up treasures of salvation; for, receiving the Saviour within thy house, thou, O Zacchaeus, wast truly made marvelous with all the fruits of repentance thou broughtest forth: deeds of mercy, the correction of wrongs, and godly life, because of which we honour thee and call thee blest.

Holy Child Gabriel, in the name of the One pierced for us, bad people had pierced your body, and for the One who blooded for us, your whole body was bleeding and ha terrible wounds, but now and in eternal glory you are enjoying with Him. Remember there about us, who here on earth are worshipping you, pray for the health of our bodies and the salvation of our souls!

Thou wast born in God-preserved Zverka, O Martyr of Christ Gabriel, where thou didst pass thy childhood. From thy father's house thou wast cunningly stolen away by evil people, and having endured cruel torments, thou didst settle in the heavenly homeland. Preserve us from all attacks and misfortune, and, we beg of thee, entreat the Lord that we too may partake of thine eternal inheritance.
