Enlisted by the King of the Ages,/ thou didst spurn the earthly king with his army and boldly preach Christ our God./ Therefore thou didst complete thy contest and shine forth as His glorious Martyr./ Entreat Him to save our souls,/ for we honour thee, blessed Isidore.
Apolytikion of ST ISIDORE of Chios ― Tone 4
Thy Martyr, O Lord, in his courageous contest for Thee received the prize of the crowns of incorruption and life from Thee, our immortal God. For since he possessed Thy strength, he cast down the tyrants and wholly destroyed the demons' strengthless presumption. O Christ God, by his prayers, save our souls, since Thou art merciful.

Taking the name of thy spiritual father at baptism, O holy Carthage/ thou didst exchange a royal, but pagan, heritage for the monastic life./ As in this world thou didst care for those/ who suffered in their bodies the corruption of leprosy,/ now, we implore thee, intercede with Christ our God/ that He will cleanse our leprous souls and save us.

Participating in the ways of the Apostles, you were enthroned as their successor. You discovered praxis as the way towards theoria. Therefore directing the word of truth, you suffered for the faith to the sheeding of your blood. Hierarch and Martyr Therapon, entreat Christ God that our souls may be saved.
