Ὡς ἀθλήσας Ἅγιε ἐσχάτοις χρόνοις, τὸν Χριστὸν ἐδόξασας, θανατωθεὶς ὑπὲρ αὐτοῦ· διὸ πιστῶς σε γεραίρομεν, ὡς Ἀθλοφόρων Ἀργύριε σύσκηνον.

Ὡς περιόσιος κλῆρος ἡ πόλις σου, προσανατίθεται Κόρη τῇ σκέπῃ σου· ἣν σκέποις ἀμάχῳ ἰσχύϊ σου, σοὶ ἀφορῶσαν Παρθένε καὶ κράζουσαν· Σὺ εἶ τοῦ λαοῦ σου ἀσφάλεια.

Χαίροις αὐταδέλφων ἡ ξυνωρίς, Κύριλλε τρισμάκαρ, καὶ Μεθόδιε ἱερέ, τῆς Θεσσαλονίκης, βλαστοὶ οἱ θεοφόροι, καὶ φωτισταὶ τῶν Σλάβων οἱ ἐνθεώτατοι.

Μωκώμενος πλάνην τὴν δυσσεβῆ, ὡς τῆς εὐσεβείας, θεορρήμων ἱερουργός, ᾔσχυνας τοῖς ἄθλοις, ἐν ἀσθενείᾳ Μάρτυς, τοῦ σκότους τὸν προστάτην, Μώκιε ἔνδοξε.
