Hierarch Basil, priest of the King of glory,/ thou art a radiant confessor of the Faith./ Thou didst oppose the iconoclasts and suffer for the Truth./ Standing before God in glory,/ remember those who honour thee.

The truth of things hath revealed thee to thy flock as a rule of faith, an icon of meekness, and a teacher of temperance; for this cause, thou hast achieved the heights by humility, riches by poverty. O Father and Hierarch Basil, intercede with Christ God that our souls be saved.
Troparion of ST BASIL of Parios ― Tone 4
Glorious hierarch Basil, / priest of the King of glory, / you are a radiant confessor of the Faith: / you opposed the iconoclasts and suffered for the Truth. / Standing before God, remember those who honor you.

Apolytikion of ST ACACIUS ― Plagal Tone 1
You were majestically non-wicked, Father Akakios, and your shining life was as an all-bright star, for you become an imitator of the former Venerables, and were made worthy to profusely receive divine gifts; do not cease to entreat the All-Holy Trinity, to grant to all the divine mercy.

Great Thursday ― Troparion ― Plagal Tone 4
As the glorious disciples, in the washing of the feet, were enlightened, the profane Judas, ravaged by greed, was benighted. And to the lawless judges he surrenders You the just judge. Consider, you who love money, the one who hanged himself for the sake of it. Shun the insatiate heart that could dare such a deed against the Teacher. Lord, benevolent above all humans, glory to You.
Great Thursday ― Troparion ― Tone 8
When Thy glorious Disciples were enlightened at the supper by the feet washing, then the impious Judas was darkened with the disease of avarice, and he delivered Thee, the Just Judge, to the lawless judges. See, O lover of money, this man through money came to hang himself. Flee the insatiable desire which dared to do such things to the Master. O Lord, Who art good towards all, glory to Thee.
