Apolytikion of St Sophronios Tone 4
The truth of things hath revealed thee to thy flock as a rule of faith, an icon of meekness, and a teacher of temperance; for this cause, thou hast achieved the heights by humility, riches by poverty. O Father and Hierarch Sophronios, intercede with Christ God that our souls be saved.


Troparion of St Sophronios Tone 5
O Father Sophronios,/ thou wast glorious in the splendour of sobriety,/ and didst reveal thy ineffable enlightenment from heaven/ through the radiance of thy words./ For by thy life thou didst attain to wisdom/ and dost now confirm thy Church,/ as an illustrious Hierarch and intercessor for us with the Lord.

Troparion of St Sophronios Tone 5
Patriarch Sophronius, you were glorious in the splendor of sobriety, / and through the radiance of your words you revealed ineffable enlightenment from heaven. / For by your life you attained wisdom / and now you confirm the Church / as an illustrious hierarch and intercessor for us with the Lord.

Κανόνα πίστεως, καὶ εἰκόνα πραότητος, ἐγκρατείας διδάσκαλον, ἀνέδειξε σε τῇ ποίμνῃ σου, ἡ τῶν πραγμάτων ἀλήθεια· διὰ τοῦτο ἐκτήσω τῇ ταπεινώσει τὰ ὑψηλά, τῇ πτωχείᾳ τὰ πλούσια. Πάτερ Ἱεράρχα Σωφρόνιε, πρέσβευε Χριστῷ τῷ θεῷ, σωθῆναι τὰς ψυχὰς ἡμῶν.

Ἀπολυτίκιον. Ἅγιος Σωφρόνιος Πατριάρχης Ἱεροσολύμων Ἦχος πλ. α´. Τὸν συνάναρχον Λόγον
Σωφροσύνης τὴν αἴγλην πλουτήσας Ὅσιε, τῆς εὐσέβειας ἐκφαίνεις τὸν ὑπὲρ νοῦν φωτισμόν, ταῖς τῶν λόγων ἀστραπαῖς Πάτερ Σωφρόνιε· σὺ γὰρ σοφίας κοινωνός, διὰ βίου γεγονώς, στηρίζεις τὴν Ἐκκλησίαν, ὡς εὐκλεὴς Ἱεράρχης, καὶ πρεσβευτὴς ἡμῶν πρὸς Κύριον.

Holy Hierarch Euthymius, God chose thee from thy youth,/ to honour thee with the rank of Bishop./ Thou didst shepherd those whom God entrusted to thee./ And even after thy repose thou didst receive the gift of wonderworking,/ to heal infirmities./ Pray to Him for us who celebrate thy memory,/ that we may all bless thee unceasingly.

O hierarch Euthymius, you were chosen by God from your youth / And honored with the rank of bishop. / You faithfully cared for your flock / And even after your repose / You received the gift of wonderworking, to heal infirmities. / Now pray for us who celebrate your memory / That we might praise Christ ceaselessly!

Your holy martyr Epimachus, O Lord, / through his suffering has received an incorruptible crown from You, our God. / For having Your strength, he laid low his adversaries, / and shattered the powerless boldness of demons. / Through his intercessions, save our souls!

Troparion of St Constantine Tone 5
Grieving at the loss of thy young spouse, thou didst renounce the world, O Martyr Constantine, but seeing thy humility God called thee to leave thy solitude and serve Him as a priest. Following thy example, we pray for grace to see that we must serve God as He wills and not as we desire, that we may be found worthy of His great mercy.

Apolytikion of St Theodora Tone 1
You abandoned royal honors, living in chastity and pains and asceticism, and were truly filled with divine gifts, O Venerable Theodora. Because of this Arta harmonically praises you crying out: Glory to Christ Who glorified you. Glory to Him Who crowned you. Glory to Him Who works for us through you healings for all.

Ἀπολυτίκιον. Ὁσία Θεοδώρα ἡ βασίλισσα Ἄρτης Ἦχος α´. Τῆς ἐρήμου πολίτης
Βασιλείου ἀξίας παριδοῦσα τὴν εὔκλειαν, ἐγκρατείᾳ καὶ πόνοις καὶ ἀσκήσει ἐβίωσας, καὶ θείων ἐπληρώθης δωρεῶν, Ὁσία Θεοδώρα ἀληθῶς. Διὰ τοῦτό σε ἡ Ἄρτα χαρμονικῶς, γεραίρει ἀνακράζουσα· δόξα τῷ σὲ δοξάσαντι Χριστῷ, δόξα τῷ σὲ στεφανώσαντι, δόξα τῷ ἐνεργοῦντι διὰ σοῦ, πᾶσιν ἰάματα.

Apolytikion of the Icon of Panagia Tsambika
The island of Rhodes, has your icon, as a fountain of your gifts, and praises you as the Theotokos Tsambika, boasting of your divinely-inspired wonders, singing to you the greeting of the Angel, crying out: Rejoice Virgin graced by God, the salvation of the Christian people.

Κρήνην έχουσα των δωρεών σου την εικόνα σου, η νήσος Ρόδος, Θεοτόκε Τσαμπίκα γεραίρει σε, και καυχωμένη ενθέως σοις θαύμασι, τον ασπασμόν του Αγγέλου προσάδοι σοι, Χαίρε κράζουσα, Παρθένε θεοχαρίτωτε, λαού του χριστωνύμου το διάσωσμα.

When the archangel understood the mysterious command, / he came to the house of Joseph with haste and proclaimed to the unwedded Lady: / The One Who bowed the heavens by His condescension / is contained wholly and without change in you! / As I behold Him in your womb, taking the form of a servant, I am frightened, but cry: / Rejoice, unwedded Bride!

Your Holy icon of the Akathist, our Mother, we now venerate all-reverently, and we glorify You, O Lady. For our protections towards us has come and it pours forth healings from sympathy-from all dangers and sorrows drive away, as we cry out in thanksgiving: Glory to God Who glorified You, glory to Him Who magnified You, glory to You who saved us through Your giving birth!

As one of equal rank with the Hierarchs and a champion among holy bishops, O holy Hierarch Euthymius,/ continue to preserve thy fatherland, thy city, and people who honour thee faithfully and worship thy precious relics,/ that we all may cry out to thee: Rejoice, divinely wise Hierarch.

Equal in rank with the great hierarchs and champion among holy bishops, / O holy Bishop Euthymius, continue to care for your flock. / Pray for those who celebrate your holy memory and venerate your holy relics, / That we may all cry: Rejoice, O holy hierarch wise in God!

Thou wast born to be King of Cornwall, O Martyr Constantine, and who could have foreseen that thou wouldst become the first hieromartyr of Scotland. As we sing thy praises, O Saint, we acknowledge the folly of preferring human plans to the will of our God.

You forsook royal honor and glory, and spent your life in asceticism, O Theodora most-blessed, honor and adornment of Arta, therefore bowing before your sacred relics, we partake of blessings from them, praising Christ Who glorified you.

Rejoice the pride of rulers, rejoice holy boast of the people of Arta, rejoice treasury of heavenly gifts, O Venerable Theodora, worthy of honor.
