O glorious Martyrs, you foundations of the Church,/ your venerable relics have appeared from the depths of the earth/ like spiritual roses and treasuries of graces./ They breathe forth the grace of healing/ and grant the fragrance of life/ to those who lovingly call you blessed.

In their sufferings, O Lord,/ Thy martyrs received imperishable crowns from Thee our God;/ for, possessed of Thy might,/ they set at nought the tormentors and crushed the feeble audacity of the demons.// By their supplications save Thou our souls.

Your holy martyrs, O Lord, / through their sufferings have received incorruptible crowns from You, our God. / For having Your strength, they laid low their adversaries, / and shattered the powerless boldness of demons. / Through their intercessions, save our souls!

Ὡς ῥόδα νοητά, καὶ χαρίτων ταμεῖα, ἐφάνησαν ἐκ γῆς, τὰ σεπτὰ ὑμῶν σκηνή, πανένδοξοι Μάρτυρες, Ἐκκλησίας ἑδραίωμα, διαπνέοντα, τῶν ἰαμάτων τὴν χάριν, καὶ παρέχοντα, ὀσμὴν ζωῆς τοῖς ἐκ πόθου, ὑμᾶς μακαρίζουσι.

Leaving thy native Ireland, thou didst labour for Christ/ in the remoteness of Kernow,/ giving thyself up to ascetic struggles and missionary journeyings,/ O Father Elwin./ Wherefore we pray for courage and strength to emulate thy example/ for the salvation of our souls.
Apolytikion of St Ariston Tone 4
You were an excellent hierarch to your flock, wise one, making them altogether brilliant with the light of Christ God, blessed Ariston; wherefore your soul also, divine angels bore, that you may receive the crown, of a faithful steward. Cease not to intercede on behalf of those who honor you.

Τῆς ποίμνης σου ἄριστα ἱεραρχήσας, σοφέ, φωτὶ κατελάμπρυνας ταύτην Χριστοῦ τοῦ Θεοῦ, Ἀρίστων μακάριε· ὅθεν καὶ τὴν ψυχήν σου, θεῖοι ἄγγελοι ἦραν, ἵνα τὸ στέφος λαβῆς, ὡς πιστὸς οἰκονόμος, πρεσβεύων ἀκαταπαύστως ὑπὲρ τῶν τιμώντων σε.

With the rivers of your tears, you have made the barren desert fertile. Through sighs of sorrow from deep within you, your labors have borne fruit a hundred-fold. By your miracles you have become a light, shining upon the world. O Baradatos, our Holy Father, interceded to Christ our God, to save our souls.

Like bright lights you shone from the earth and dispelled ungodly darkness;/ you have illumined the faithful,/ O divine Martyrs, champions of the Trinity.

Shining forth from the earth as beacons of righteousness,/ ye have dispelled all the gloom of impiety;// and ye enlighten the faithful, O divine martyrs, and emulators of the Trinity.

O mighty pillars of the Faith, right victorious martyrs,/ having undergone divers torments for Christ, ye remained hidden for many years;/ and now ye have been revealed like riches of great value,/ and are borne with honor into the church of Christ in the hands of a hierarch of God;/ and ye bestow that which is profitable upon them that ask.// Wherefore, pray ye for our souls.
