Before the ungodly thou didst preach with godliness/ that the Creator of all took flesh without suffering change:/ O blessed Sabine, thou didst excel in holy contest,/ for by meeting death in the river/ thou didst attain to the Source of incorruption./ Therefore we praise thee.

Κηρύξας εὐσεβῶς, ἀσεβῶν ἐναντίων, τῶν πάντων Ποιητήν, σαρκωθέντα ἀτρέπτως, Σαβῖνε παμμακάριστε, ἱερῶς ἠνδραγάθησας· ὅθεν ἔφθασας, πρός ἀφθαρσίας χειμάῤῥουν, τέλος ἅγιον, ἐν ποταμῷ δεδεγμένος· διὸ εὐφημοῦμέν σε.

Let us, O brethren, honour godly Christodoulos,/ offspring of Nicea, protector of Patmos and boast of monks./ Let us venerate his relics and so receive healing of soul and body,/ and cry out with hymns:/ Glory to Him Who has strengthened thee; glory to Him Who has crowned thee;/ glory to Him Who through thee works healings for all.

Τῆς Νικαίας τὸν γόνον καὶ τῆς Πάτμου τὸ καύχημα, καὶ τῶν Μοναζόντων τὸ κλέος, θεοφόρον Χριστόδουλον, τιμήσωμεν ἐν ὕμνοις ἀδελφοί, τὸ σκῆνος προσπτυσσόμενοι αὐτοῦ, ἵνα λάβωμεν τὴν ἴασιν τῶν ψυχῶν, καὶ τῶν σωμάτων κράζοντες· δόξα τῷ δεδοκότι σοι ἰσχύν, δόξα τῷ σὲ στεφανώσαντι, δόξα τῷ ἐνεργοῦντι διὰ σοῦ, πᾶσιν ἰάματα.

O Holy Apostle Aristobulus, first Bishop of Britain,
intercede with the merciful God
that He grant unto our souls forgiveness of sins.

Τὴν κιθάραν τοῦ Πνεύματος τὴν ἑξάχορδον, τὴν μελωδήσασαν κόσμῳ τὰς ὑπὲρ νοῦν δωρεάς, ὡς ἐκφάντορας Χριστοῦ ἀνευφημήσωμεν, Στάχυν, Ἀμπλίαν, Ἀπελλῆν, σὺν Ναρκίσσῳ, Οὐρβανὸν καὶ Ἀριοτόβουλον ἅμα ὡς γὰρ Ἀπόστολοι θεῖοι, χάριν αἰτοῦνται ταῖς ψυχαῖς ἡμῶν.

Let us acclaim Stachys, Apelles, Amplias, Urban, Narcissus and Aristobulus as a six-stringed harp of the Spirit, that sings of God's marvelous gifts to mankind. As divine Apostles they pray for us.

In Ireland's fertile soil thou didst plant the seeds of monasticism, O Father Abban, and didst nurture a great flowering of God-pleasing virtue. Continue steadfastly in thy enduring love, to lead mankind to God and by thy prayers may we be granted great mercy.

O inspired Julian, your mother guided you to become a glorious soldier of Christ. You were clad in the armor of the Spirit, entering the contest and destroying the enemy. Now pray to Christ our God for us all.

The sail of the Spirit guided thee into the Water of Life and Goodness./ when thou wast cast into the river, O praiseworthy Sabine./ By thy prayers thou art raining down upon us/ the forgiveness of our sins.

O God-bearing Sabinas,/ thou divine scion, unfading bloom, branch heavy-laden with fruit,/ with thy gladness fill them that with faith honor thy memory,// and pray thou unceasingly for us all.

Since we possess thy relics/ as a holy place of healing/ for all our diseases and afflictions./ we are redeemed and cry aloud to thee:/ Rejoice, O Christodoulos.

Let us thankfully praise the wise Apostles Stachys, Apelles, Amplias, Urban, Narcissus and Aristobulus, those treasures of the Holy Spirit and rays of the Sun of glory, who were brought together by the grace of our God.

Today we praise Julian, the unconquerable holy warrior, the champion and vessel of truth to whom we cry: Intercede with Christ our God for us all.
