Troparion of Apostle James Tone 3
You were a chosen apostle of Christ / And the only brother of the beloved Theologian. / Most praised James, ask remission of sins and great mercy / For those who sing hymns to you.

Troparion of St Cynwl Tone 7
Thou wast a worthy brother of Bangor's Bishop Deiniol,/ O holy hermit Cynwl./ Having passed from thine austere life on earth/ to eternal glory in heaven,/ pray to Christ our God for the people of these lands,/ that He may grant us His great mercy.

Apolytikion of St Theodore of Byzantium Tone 1
Thou wast offered to God as a precious gift through thy labours in conflict, and didst become a blameless and acceptable offering. O blessed Theodore we praise thy struggles; we give glory to God who has strengthened thee, O much-afflicted one, against all thine enemies, visible and invisible.

Apolytikion for the Translation of the Relics of St Theodore of Byzantium Tone 4
The all-precious Relics of St. Theodore, O faithful, let us gloriously honor as a precious treasure, and let all cry out: Save us from the dangers, those who faithfully hymn you, as when you delivered the city from the plague, and preserve all of us through your intercessions.

Apolytikion of St Argyre Tone 4
You put to shame tyrants by your tortures, O pure one, and you were shown forth, O much-suffering one, as strong as a diamond. O glorious martyr of Christ, you showed forth in struggles for Christ the Savior, love and zeal and unquenchable longing, Who worthily glorified you, O Argyre.

Troparion of St Erconwald Tone 2
Resplendent with rays of grace divine, thou didst enlighten thy people with the Christian Faith, O Erconwald, guardian of the Mysteries of Christ; and working wonders by the power of the Spirit, thou dost manifestly heal sufferings of body and soul for those who have recourse to thee with confidence. Wherefore, take pity on us, thy children in the Faith, and beseech Christ God, that He save our souls.

THE BLIND MAN Troparion Tone 5
Christ is risen from the dead, trampling on death by death, and on those in the tombs bestowing life.

Kontakion of Apostle James Tone 2

Kontakion of Apostle James Tone 2
You heard the voice of God calling you / And turned away from the love of your father. / With your brother you hastened after Christ, O glorious James. / With him, you were counted worthy to behold the Lord’s divine Transfiguration!

Kontakion of Apostle James Tone 2

Kontakion of St Theodore of Byzantium Tone 4
Thy contest has arisen like a bright morning star and has inspired us to glorify Christ. He has shown thee forth as one steadfast in struggle, O Martyr Theodore.

Kontakion St Erconwald Tone 8 "To thee, the champion leader…"
To thee, the guardian of London, do we, thy servants, chant hymns of jubilation and praise, as ones delivered from tribulations, O saint of God. As thou hast glory in the highest, free us from all temptations, that we may cry to thee: Rejoice, O Erconwald most honored!

THE BLIND MAN Kontakion Tone 4
Having the eyes of my soul blinded, I come to Thee, O Christ, like the man blind from birth, and with repentance I cry to Thee: Thou art the bright Light of those in darkness.

THE BLIND MAN Kontakion Tone 4
I come to You, O Christ, / Blind from birth in my spiritual eyes / And I call to You in repentance: / You are the most radiant light of those in darkness!

Megalynarion of Apostle James
On the mount of Tabor, O holy James, you did hear the Lord God manifestly proclaim His Son. Him did you boldly preach before the sons of Judah, O Martyr, Apostle and true initiate.

Megalynarion of St Theodore of Byzantium
Let us the faithful praise the pearl of Jesus in odes and hymns, Christ's bright star of the neomartyrs, Theodore the New, the boast of the faithful.

THE PRAYER OF ST THEODORE as he was preparing for his martyrdom, a fellow monk of St Theodore in Chios wrote the following prayer for him:
Lord Jesus Christ, the physician of my miserable soul, do not turn from me the sinner in disgust, but strengthen my weak and hardened heart, and warm it in its love for Your martyrdom. I denied You, my Maker and Benefactor, without being forced by anyone and became a servant of the vile devil and a plaything of demons, and found myself under their authority and subject to their will. Now aided by Your grace and unsurpassable forbearance, which has helped me to flee their traps, help me, who am a miserable and pitiful creature, unworthy of the Orthodox Christian calling, to confess You before rulers and tyrants. Yes, my Lord, yes Only-Begotten Son of God. Do not turn in disgust from your servant, but accept me in the choir of your martyrs, and find me worthy to gain their forgiveness. Amen.
