Thou didst abandon dark ignorance through knowledge of the Faith,/ O Pelagia, fair virgin of Christ./ Thou wast refreshed by His dew and didst finish thy contest by fire./ O glorious Martyr,/ entreat Christ our God to grant us His great mercy.
Troparion of St Pelagia Tone 3
Through your knowledge of the Faith you abandoned the darkness of ignorance, / fairest virgin of Christ. / You were refreshed by dew and finished your contest by fire. / Glorious martyr Pelagia, / entreat Christ our God to grant us His great mercy!
Troparion of St Scannel Tone 3
Sent by Colum Cille thou didst travel from Iona/ and spend thy life preaching Christ in pagan darkness./ As thou hast boldness before Christ in heavenly glory/, O Father Scannel,/ entreat Him that our souls may be saved.
THE ASCENSION OF OUR LORD Troparion Tone 4
O Christ God, You have ascended in Glory, / Granting joy to Your disciples by the promise of the Holy Spirit. / Through the blessing they were assured / That You are the Son of God, / The Redeemer of the world!
THE ASCENSION OF OUR LORD Troparion Tone 4
Thou didst ascend into glory, O Christ our God, having gladdened Thy disciples by the promise of the Holy Spirit. And this blessing convinced them that Thou art the Son of God, the Redeemer of the world.
THE ASCENSION OF OUR LORD Troparion Tone 4
Thou hast ascended in glory, O Christ our God, and gleddened thy Disciples with the promise of the Holy Spirit, having become confident of the blessing. Verily, thou art the Son of God, and Deliverer of the world.

THE ASCENSION OF OUR LORD Kontakion Tone 6
When You had fulfilled the dispensation for our sake, / and united earth to heaven: / You ascended in glory, O Christ our God, / not being parted from those who love You, / but remaining with them and crying: / “I am with you and no one will be against you!”
THE ASCENSION OF OUR LORD Kontakion Tone 6
When thou didst fulfill thy dispensation for our sakes, uniting the terrestrials with the celestials, thou didst ascend in glory, O Christ our God, inseparable in space, but constant without separation, and crying unto thy beloved, I am with you, and no one shall be against you.
THE ASCENSION OF OUR LORD Kontakion Tone 6
Having accomplished for us Thy mission and united things on earth with things in heaven, Thou didst ascend into glory, O Christ our God, being nowhere separated from those who love Thee, but remaining everpresent with us and calling: I am with you and no one is against you.
