ST SEIRIOL of Wales
Hieromartyr SILVESTER the Pope of Rome
Troparion of the THEOPHANY Forefeast ― Tone 4
Make ready, O Zebulon, and prepare thyself, Nephthali./ River Jordan, stop flowing and leap for joy at the Lord's coming for Baptism./ Rejoice, O Adam, with our first mother;/ hide not yourself as in Paradise of old./ For seeing us naked He has appeared,/ to clothe us with our first garment./ Christ has appeared, to renew the whole of creation.

Troparion of ST SERAPHIM OF SAROV ― Tone 4
Thou didst love Christ from thy youth, O blessed one,/ and longing to work for Him alone/ thou didst struggle in the wilderness with constant prayer and labour./ With penitent heart and great love for Christ/ thou wast favoured by the Mother of God./ Wherefore we cry to thee:/ Save us by thy prayers, O Seraphim our righteous Father.

Troparion of ST SERAPHIM OF SAROV — Tone 4
You loved Christ from your youth, O blessed one, / and longing to work for Him alone you struggled in the wilderness in constant prayer and labor. / With penitent heart and great love for Christ you were favored by the Mother of God. / Therefore we cry to you: / “Save us by your prayers, venerable Seraphim, our father.”

Troparion of ST SERAPHIM OF SAROV
From thy youth up thou hast loved Christ, O blessed Saint, and aflame with the desire to work for Him alone thou hast contended in unceasing prayer and laboured in the wilderness: and gaining by compunction of heart the love of Christ, thou hast appeared as the chosen of the Mother of God. Therefore we cry to thee: Save us by thy prayers, O Father Seraphim.

Apolytikion of ST JULIANA — Tone 4
Shining forth with grace divine, even after death thou hast revealed the radiance of thy life; for thou pourest forth fragrant myrrh for healing, upon all the sick who approach the shrine of thy relics with faith. O venerable mother Juliana, entreat Christ God, that our souls be saved.

Troparion of ST JULIANA — Tone 4
By your righteous deeds you revealed to the world / An image of the perfect servant of the Lord. / By your fasting, vigil and prayers, / You were inspired in your evangelical life, / Feeding the hungry and caring for the poor, / Nursing the sick and strengthening the weak. / Now you stand at the right hand of the Master, Christ, / O holy Juliana, interceding for our souls.

Troparion of ST SEIRIOL ― Tone 4
We hymn thee, O Father Seiriol,
for thou didst turn the Welsh wilderness into a fertile vineyard for the Lord.
By this our intercession, O Saint,
we implore thee to pray to Christ our God
that our labours may be blessed and our souls may be saved.

Troparion of ST SILVESTER the Pope of Rome — Tone 4
You appeared to your flock as a rule of faith, / An image of humility and a teacher of abstinence. / Because of your lowliness Heaven was opened to you; / Because of your poverty, riches were granted to you. / O holy Pope Sylvester, pray to Christ our God to save our souls!

Troparion of ST SILVESTER the Pope of Rome — Tone 4
The truth of things revealed thee to thy flock as a rule of faith,/ a model of meekness and a teacher of abstinence/ wherefore thou hast attained the heights through humility/ and riches through poverty.// O hierarch Sylvester our father, entreat Christ God that our souls be saved.

The Lord cried to John in the running waters of Jordan:/ Be not afraid to baptize Me,/ for I have come to save Adam, the first-formed man.

Kontakion of ST SERAPHIM OF SAROV ― Tone 2
Having left the beauty of the world and what is corrupt in it, O Saint,/ thou didst settle in Sarov Monastery./ And having lived there an angelic life,/ thou wast for many the way to salvation./ Wherefore Christ has glorified thee, O Father Seraphim,/ and has enriched thee with the gift of healing and miracles./ And so we cry to thee:/ Rejoice, O Seraphim, our righteous Father.

Kontakion of ST SERAPHIM OF SAROV — Tone 2
Forsaking the beauty as well as the corruption of this world, / you settled in the monastery of Sarov, O Saint. / There you lived an angelic life, / becoming for many the way to salvation. / Therefore, Christ has glorified you, Father Seraphim, / enriching you with abundant healing and miracles. / So we cry to you: “Save us by your prayers, venerable Seraphim, our father.”

Kontakion of ST JULIANA — Plagal Tone 4
All of us amid misfortune and pain hymn the holy Juliana as a helper quick to hear; for she lived a God-pleasing life in the world and gave countless alms to the poor. Wherefore, she hath found the grace of miracles at the command of God.

Kontakion of ST SEIRIOL
Thy radiant memory illuminates the ages, O holy Seiriol, defying the darkness of apostacy and error. May the day once more dawn when all Wales will confess the Faith of our Fathers and keep festival to honour thee.

Kontakion of ST SILVESTER the Pope of Rome — Tone 2
The Trinity delights in you, O holy bishop Sylvester! / You are divine thunder, a spiritual trumpet / A planter of the Faith, / and destroyer of heresies. / As you ever stand with the angels, entreat Christ without ceasing for us all!

Kontakion of the hierarch — Tone 4 "Having been lifted up"
As a conversor with the ascetics, thou becamest a priest among the priests of God the King; wherefore, thou rejoicest now with the angelic choirs. O father Sylvester, thou God-bearing shepherd, dwelling in the heavens, save those who with love celebrate thy memory.

Kontakion of ST SILVESTER the Pope of Rome — Tone 4
As a companion of the holy ascetics, thou O God-bearer, hast been worthily shown forth as a true priest of priests before our King and God. Wherefore, thou rejoicest now with the choirs of the Angels, filled with gladness and delight in the Heavens, O Father. Renowned Sylvester, famed shepherd of Rome, save them that honour with love thy memorial.
