ST THEODOSIA THE VIRGIN AND MARTYRESS
ST JOHN OF USTIUGFOOL FOR CHRIST AND WONDERWORKER
ST DYFRIG Archbishop of Caerleon
ST YPOMONI - Empress of the Romans
Troparion of St Theodosia Tone 4
Through thy struggles in contest,/ O noble Theodosia,/ thou didst offer thy virginity as a gift to God the Word./ Now that He has brought thee to the heavenly bridal chamber,/ entreat Him to deliver us from all misfortune.

Troparion of St Theodosia Tone 4
Thou didst right-pleasingly attain unto virtue, O martyr,/ and becamest a pure habitation of Christ, the beloved abode of the Holy Spirit./ Wherefore, suffering well,/ thou didst put to shame the enemy who wageth war upon the human race./ and didst cut down Copronymus with the sword of the Faith, O Theodosia;/ and, rejoicing, thou hast passed over to the heavenly bridal-chamber.// Ask thou great mercy for those who ever honor thee with faith.

Troparion of St Theodosia Tone 4
Your lamb Theodosia, O Jesus, / Calls out to You in a loud voice: / I love You, O my bridegroom, / And in seeking You, I endure suffering. / In Baptism I was crucified so that I might reign in You, / And died so that I might live with You. / Accept me as a pure sacrifice, / For I have offered myself in love. / By her prayers save our souls, since You are merciful.

Troparion of St John of Ustiug Tone 5
By patience and nakedness/ thou didst expose the snares of the enemy,/ and reprove his evil work./ Thou didst suffer from heat and cold,/ and wast protected by God's help./ Pray for those who faithfully celebrate thy memory/ and who hasten to venerate thy relics,/ that they may be delivered from misfortunes/ and avoid stumbling, O most wise John.

Troparion of St Dyfrig Tone 1
Thou art worthily honoured as the Father of Welsh Monasticism. O Hierarch Dyfrig,/ labouring to establish true asceticism with thy brother in the Faith, Samson of Dol/ whom thou didst raise to the dignity of the episcopate./ In thy pastoral love, O Saint,/ pray for us that despite our unspiritual lives/ Christ our God will grant us great mercy.

Troparion of St Dyfrig Tone 5
You are worthy of all honour O holy Dyfrig
as Bishop who taught the faith to all.
You founded houses of prayer and obedience
where people could drink of the Spirit
to cleanse their hearts and make them like Christ.
Pray to Christ that he may save our souls.

Apolytikion of St Ypomoni Plagal Tone 1
The noble Queen let us hymn, Ypomoni the Righteous, the pious dove who flew from the world's disarray towards the dwelling place of heaven, in unending love, asceticism and humility, let us cry: shatter by your prayers the shackles of the lawless, O Queen.

Kontakion of St Theodosia Tone 2 "Seeking the highest..."
Through labors thou didst attain unto the life abounding in ease, O martyr,/ and with thy blood thou didst choke Copronymus,/ the enemy of the Church of Christ,/ O most blessed Theodosia;/ and thou dost rejoice with the armies on high,// protecting those who honor thy memory.

Kontakion of St Theodosia Tone 2
Through your striving, O venerable Theodosia, / You inherited a life of peace. / By shedding your blood, you vanquished the enemy of the Church of Christ. / As you rejoice now in His presence, ever pray to Him for us all!

Kontakion of St Theodosia Tone 4
Thou wast betrothed to the King of Heaven/ as a pure and trophy-bearing Virgin Martyr./ O praiseworthy Theodosia, entreat Him to save our souls.

Kontakion of St Theodosia Tone 4

Kontakion of St John of Ustiug Tone 8
Thou didst abstain from all sweetness below, desirous of the beauty of heaven./ Possessing nothing in this vain world, thou didst long for the life of the Angels./ After repose thou didst pass to them: with them entreat Christ our God for us all.

Kontakion of St Ypomoni Plagal Tone 4
Bearing the name of Godly-strengthened Patience, and the most honored of the Godly-wise rulers, who shone as a star in Byzantium and blazing among the choirs of the monastics, with the rays of humility let us praise her, crying out fervently: Rejoice, O most-praised Mother.
