With fitting hymns, O ye faithful, let us honor the great Maximus,/ the lover of the Trinity, who manifestly teacheth us the divine Faith,/ to worship Christ in two natures, volitions and activities;// and let us cry aloud: Rejoice, O preacher of the faith!

Let us the faithful fittingly praise the lover of the Trinity, / the great Maximus who taught the God-inspired faith, / that Christ is to be glorified in His two natures, wills, and energies; / and let us cry to him: “Rejoice, herald of the faith.”

O Great Martyr Neophytos, thou didst shine forth from the mountain/ and as an athlete glorify Christ in the stadium./ Wherefore thou didst receive the unfading crown.v

Ἐκ τοῦ ὄρους ἤστραψας ἐν τῷ σταδίῳ, καὶ Χριστὸν ἐδόξασας, ἀθλητικαῖς σου ἀγωγαῖς, Μεγαλομάρτυς Νεόφυτε· ὅθεν ἐδέξω τὸν ἄφθαρτον στέφανον.

Τραπεζουντίων εὐσεβῶς αἱ χορεῖαι, τοῦ Ἀθλοφόρου Εὐγενίου τὴν μνήμην, χρεωστικῶς τελέσωμεν γηθόμενοι, καὶ τοὺς μαρτυρήσαντας σὺν αὐτῷ εὐφημοῦντες· οὗτοι γὰρ παρέχουσιν, ἡμῖν ἄφθονον χάριν, καὶ τῷ Χριστῷ πρεσβεύουσιν ἀεί, πᾶσι δοθῆναι, πταισμάτων συγχώρησιν.

Παρθενίας λάμπουσα, μαρμαρυγαῖς ἀκηράτοις, μαρτυρίου ἤνυσας, περιφανῶς τοὺς ἀγῶνας· πίστει γὰρ, καὶ θείῳ ἔρωτι φλεγομένη, ἤνεγκας, πυρὸς τὴν καῦσιν ἀνδρειοφρόνως, καὶ πρὸς φῶς τῆς ἄνω δόξης, Ἁγνὴ θεόφρον, χαίρουσα ἔδραμες.

Ἅγιος ΝΕΌΦΥΤΟΣ ὁ ΜΆΡΤΥΡΑΣ — Μεγαλυνάριονv Νέος ὢν τῷ σώματι κομιδῇ, τὸν ἀρχαῖον ὄφιν, ἐτροπώσω μαρτυρικῶς· ὅθεν ἐδοξάσθης, τῇ θείᾳ χορηγίᾳ, Νεόφυτε τρισμάκαρ, πιστῶν ἀντίληψις.

Ἄνθος Τραπεζοῦντος ὤφθης τερπνόν, καὶ ἐν ταύτῃ Μάρτυς, ἠγωνίσω ἀθλητικῶς, μετὰ τῶν συνάθλων, Εὐγένιε παμμάκαρ· διὸ Τραπεζουντίοις, δίδου τὴν χάριν σου.

Χαίροις τῆς ἁγνείας ἄνθος τερπνόν, Ἁγνὴ Ἀθληφόρε, νύμφη ἄμωμε τοῦ Χριστοῦ· χαίροις ἡ ὡς θῦμα, Κυρίῳ προσαχθεῖσα, διὰ πυρὸς τελέσασα τὸν ἀγῶνά σου.
