Troparion of SS EPHRAIM and ISAAC the Syrians —Tone 1
Let the multitudes of monastics and cenobites/ honour our divinely-shining pillars and protectors and intercessors,/ divine Ephraim and Isaac who are truly of Christ./ And let us glorify them with hymns while crying:/ Glory to Him Who has sanctified you; glory to Him Who has made you wonderful;/ glory to Him Who has glorified you both in heaven and on earth.
Apolytikion of ST EPHREM the Syrian — Plagal Tone 4
With the rivers of your tears, you have made the barren desert fertile. Through sighs of sorrow from deep within you, your labors have borne fruit a hundred-fold. By your miracles you have become a light, shining upon the world. O Ephraim, our Holy Father, pray to Christ our God, to save our souls.

With the streams of thy tears thou didst irrigate the barren desert,/ and with sighs from the depths of thy soul thou didst render thy labors fruitful an hundredfold./ Thou wast a beacon for the whole world, radiating miracles.// O our father Ephraim, entreat Christ God that our souls be saved.

By a flood of tears you made the desert fertile, / and your longing for God brought forth fruits in abundance. / By the radiance of miracles you illumined the whole universe! / Our Father Ephraim, pray to Christ God to save our souls!

Ρεῖθρον ἄϋλον, ἐν τῇ ψυχῇ σου, τὸν ζωήρρυτον, πλουτήσας φόβον, κατανύξεως κρατὴρ ἀναδέδειξαι· ὅθεν ἡμᾶς πρὸς ἠθῶν τελειότητα, τοῖς ἱεροῖς σου ῥυθμίζεις διδάγμασιν. Ἐφραὶμ Ὅσιε, Χριστὸν τὸν Θεὸν ἱκέτευε, δωρήσασθαι ἡμῖν τὸ μέγα ἔλεος.

Ἀσκήσεως σκάμμασιν, ἀνακαθάρας τὸν νοῦν, δοχεῖον ὑπέρτιμον, τῆς ἐνεργείας Θεοῦ, ἐδείχθης Παλλάδιε· ὅθεν τὸν φονευθέντα, προσευχῇ ἀνάστησας, ἔδειξας θεοφόρε, τὴν πλουσίαν σου χάριν· Χριστὸς γὰρ ὃν ἐδόξασας, λαμπρῶς σε ἐθαυμάστωσε.

O Ephraim, as a lover of silence/ thou didst ever forsee the hour of reckoning and bitterly lament;/and by thy words thou wast indeed a teacher, O righteous one./ Wherefore, O father of all the world,/ thou dost rouse the slothful to repentance.

At all times didst thou foresee the hour of reckoning, and pricked in thy heart, thou ever didst lament with tears; and, O righteous Ephraim, thou wast a mighty teacher in works and deeds. Hence, O Father for all the world, thou didst rouse the slothful unto change of heart.

Εὐφημοῦμέν σε οἱ δοῦλοί σου θεοφόρε.
Ἀλλ’ ὡς θεῖος θεωρὸς Χριστοῦ τοῦ βήματος
Ἐν τῇ κρίσει ἀκατάκριτόν μεφύλαξον,
Ἵνα κράζω σοι, χαίροις Πάτερ Ἐφραὶμ σοφέ.
