O Lord, save Thy people/ and bless Thine inheritance./ Grant victory over their enemies to Orthodox Christians,/ and protect Thy people with Thy Cross.

In love thy contest was radiant/ and thou didst run to the fragrance of Christ./ O virtuous Virgin-Martyr,/ thou hast entered the bridal chamber/ and dost send healing into the world./ Save those who cry to thee: Rejoice,O holy Euphemia.

Troparion of St EUPHEMIA ―Tone 4
Your lamb Euphemia calls out to You, O Jesus, in a loud voice:
“I love You, my Bridegroom, and in seeking You I endure suffering.
In baptism I was crucified so that I might reign in You,
and I died so that I might live with You.
Accept me as a pure sacrifice,
for I have offered myself in love.”
Through her prayers save our souls, since You are merciful!

Thy ewe-lamb Euphemia crieth out to Thee with a loud voice, O Jesus:/ "I love Thee, O my Bridegroom,/ and, seeking Thee, I pass through many struggles:/ I am crucified and buried with Thee in Thy baptism / and suffer for Thy sake, that I may reign with Thee;/ I die for Thee that I might live with Thee./ As an unblemished sacrifice accept me,/ who sacrifice myself with love for Thee// By her supplications save Thou our souls, in that Thou art merciful.

Apolytikion of St NINIAN ― Tone 3
As the equal of the Lord's Apostles, thou didst bring the grace of good tidings to the lands of the Scots, O wise Ninian. Thou art a lamp to our feet, who enlightenest our souls to walk in the path of God's commands. Hence, we honour thee and cry unto thee with fervent faith: Entreat Christ God to grant great mercy unto us.

Troparion of St NINIAN ― Tone 4
‘You went forth from Britain to preach the Gospel
into the lands of the southern Picts.
the Shining House that you built was a symbol
of the Light that you brought to this land.
So great was your zeal that your disciples
carried it to the far extreme of the Shetlands.
Holy Ninian how great is your glory in heaven.’

Troparion of St NINIAN ― Tone 8
Having been instructed and blessed by saints, O holy Father Ninian,/ thou didst return to Northern Britian to preach Christ to thine own people./ Following thine example, O Apostle of the Picts, Light of those in the darkness of paganism,/ True shepherd of the sheep, Teacher of the Orthodox Faith and Founder of Candida Casa,/ pray that we will tirelessly labour for Christ among our fellow countrymen, that our souls may be saved.

EXALTATION OF THE CROSS Kontakion of the Feast ― Tone 4
O Christ our God/ Who wast voluntarily lifted up on the Cross,/ grant Thy mercies to Thy new people named after Thee./ Gladden with Thy power Orthodox Christians/ and give them victory over their enemies./ May they have as an ally/ that invincible trophy, Thy weapon of peace.

Kontakion of St EUPHEMIA ―Tone 4
Thou didst win thy martyr's contest/ and dost now sanctify us with streams of miracles, O holy Euphemia./ We honour thy repose and stand before thy relics/ to be delivered from our souls' diseases/ and obtain the grace of miracles.

Kontakion of St EUPHEMIA ―Tone 4 "Having been lifted up"
Thou didst struggle well in thy contest,/ and after death dost sanctify us with streams of miracles, O most praised one./ Wherefore, we hymn thy holy repose,/ having recourse to thy divine temple with faith, // that we may be delivered from spiritual afflictions, and may draw forth the grace of miracles.

Kontakion of St EUPHEMIA ―Tone 4 “As You were voluntarily raised...”
You completed your struggle well, all-praised Euphemia;
even after death, you pour out healing on us for our sanctification.
We stand beside your venerable relics
to honor your holy falling asleep,
that in faith we may be delivered from the weaknesses of our nature
and to obtain the grace of your miracles.

Kontakion of St NINIAN ― Plagal Tone 4
To thee, our father, guide, and teacher in the Christian Faith, do we now offer fitting hymns of praise and gratitude, and, O godly boast of Cumberland, we extol thee. But since thou hast grace and boldness at the throne of God, do thou shelter and protect all who acclaim thy name, for we cry to thee: Rejoice, O Father Ninian.
