Troparion of St BARTHOLOMEW — Tone 5
O wise Bartholomew,/ thy holy relics appeared like the dawn/ shining in the East and coming to the West./ They shine with the gifts/ of the Daystar of life/ and dispel the darkness of diseases/ from those who approach them with faith and hope.

Holy Apostles Bartholomew and Titus, / Entreat the merciful God, / To grant our souls forgiveness of transgressions.

Ἀπολυτίκιον. Ἅγιος ΒΑΡΘΟΛΟΜΑΊΟΥ — Ἦχος πλ. α’. Τὸν συνάναρχον Λόγον
Ἐξ Ἑῴας ὡς ὄρθρος ὤφθη πολύφωτος, ποντοπορήσασα ξένως Βαρθολομαῖε σοφέ, πρὸς τὴν Δύσιν ἡ σορὸς ἡ τῶν λειψάνων σου· τοῦ γὰρ Ἡλίου τῆς ζωῆς, δᾳδουχεῖ τὰς δωρεάς, καὶ σκότος παντοίων νόσων, ὁλοσχερῶς διαλύει, τῶν προσιόντων ταύτῃ πάντοτε.

Thou didst receive thy call from heaven,/ to learn about sacred things/ and of thy Master's coming to earth in the flesh./ Thou didst witness His deeds and wast filled with the light of grace./ As companion of Paul and preacher of the Faith/ thou didst enlighten Crete with the word of Godliness,/ O blessed Apostle Titus.

Holy Apostles Bartholomew and Titus, / Entreat the merciful God, / To grant our souls forgiveness of transgressions.

Apolytikion of St TITUS — Plagal Tone 1
With a heavenly calling towards divinely inspired knowledge, of the flesh of the Master who resided on earth, you saw with your eyes all things illumined, wherefore as a companion of Paul, you became one who discourses of God, kindling throughout Crete, words of piety, blessed Apostle Titus.

Ἀπολυτίκιο. Ἅγιος ΤΊΤΟΣ — Ἦχος πλ. α’. Τὸν συνάναρχον λόγον
Προσκληθεὶς οὐρανόθεν πρὸς γνῶσιν ἔνθεον, τὴν ἐν σαρκὶ τοῦ Δεσπότου ἐπιδημίαν ἐν γῇ, αὐτοψεὶ ἑωρακὼς φωτὸς πεπλήρωσαι· ὅθεν τοῦ Παύλου κοινωνός, θεηγόρος γεγονώς, τὴν Κρήτην πᾶσαν πυρσεύεις, τῆς εὐσεβείας τῇ αἴγλῃ, Τίτε Ἀπόστολε μακάριε.

Apolytikion of St JOHN of Karpathos — Tone 1
An expounder of virtue, and teacher of monastics, you were perceived as the president of Karpathos our Father John which you lived as an angel on earth; you were enlightened with the light of the Spirit, wherefore as a healer of Christ, we honor you crying out: Glory to Him Who gave you strength, Glory to Him Who crowned you, Glory to Him Who through you grants us an abundance of grace and mercy.

Ἀπολυτίκιο. Ἅγιος ἸΩΆΝΝΗΣ ὁ Καρπάθιος — Ἦχος α’. Τῆς ἐρήμου πολίτης
Ἀρετῶν ὑποφήτης, μοναζόντων διδάσκαλος, καὶ Καρπάθου πρόεδρος ὤφθης Ἰωάννη Πατὴρ ἡμῶν, βιώσας γὰρ ὡς ἄγγελος ἐν γῇ, τοῦ Πνεύματος ηὐγάσθης τῷ φωτί, διὰ τοῦτο ὡς θεράποντα τοῦ Χριστοῦ, τιμῶμέν σε κραυγάζοντες, δόξα τῷ δεδωκότι σοι ἰσχύν, δόξα τῷ σὲ στεφανώσαντι, δόξα τῷ χορηγούντι διὰ σοῦ, ἡμῖν χάριν καὶ ἔλεος.

Apolytikion of St CONSTANTIA — Plagal Tone 1
Having served the great ascetic Hilarion, who dwelled in Paphos, where he trained venerably, and being eminent in faith, you were seen to be a leader of women, and protector of Paphos, divinely-wise Constantia, intercede to Christ without ceasing, on behalf of those who honor you.

Κοντάκιον. Ἅγιος ΒΑΡΘΟΛΟΜΑΊΟΥ — Ἦχος α’. Τὸν τάφον σου Σωτήρ
Ἡ κάθοδος τῶν σῶν, παναγίων λειψάνων, ὑπόθεσις ἡμῖν, ἑορτῆς φαιδροτάτης, πανεύφημε γέγονε, τοῦ Κυρίου Ἀπόστολε· ἣν γεραίροντες, εὐσεβοφρόνως τιμῶμεν, σὲ τὸν ἄδυτον, Βαρθολομαῖε λαμπτῆρα, Χριστὸν μεγαλύνοντες.

Titus, worthy of all praise and preacher of Christ’s mysteries, / You were Paul’s companion, and with him taught us the doctrine of God. / Therefore we cry out to you: / Never cease to intercede for the sake of us all!

Revealed as a companion of Paul,/ O ever-memorable Apostle Titus,/ thou recounter of sacred mysteries,/ with him thou didst preach to us the words of divine grace./ Wherefore, we cry out to thee.// Cease thou never to pray for us all!

Τοῦ Παύλου δειχθείς, συνόμιλος Ἀπόστολε, σὺν τούτῳ ἡμῖν, τὸν λόγον προκατήγγειλας, τῆς ἐνθέου χάριτος, μυστολέκτα Τίτε μακάριε· διὰ τοῦτο βοῶμέν σοι· μὴ παύσῃ πρεσβεύων, ὑπὲρ πάντων ἡμῶν.

As an esteemed ascetic of piety, and divinely inspired Hierarch of the Savior, the island of Karpathos celebrates you, O all-blessed John; you sanctified it by your life, as its offspring and divine boast, wherefore keep watch over it always with your intercessions.


Μεγαλυνάριον. Ἅγιος ΒΑΡΘΟΛΟΜΑΊΟΥ
Ἦκε πρὸς τὴν Δύσιν ὑπερφυῶς, θαλασσοποροῦσα, τῶν λειψάνων σου ἡ σορός· τὶς οὖν ἀνυμνήσει, σοφὲ Βαρθολομαῖε, τῶν ξένων σου θαυμάτων, χάριν τὴν ἄφθονον.

Megalynarion of St TITUS
Taught by Paul, the one who had seen God, you were seen in Crete as a teacher of piety, O Titus, you who spoke as from God; you are the Apostle of the condescension of the Logos to us.

Μεγαλυνάριον. Ἅγιος ΤΊΤΟΣ
Παύλῳ τῷ θεόπτῃ μαθητεύεις, ὤφθης ἐν τῇ Κρήτῃ, εὐσεβείας ὑφηγητής, Τίτε θεηγόρε, Ἀπόστολε καὶ μύστα, τῆς πρὸς ἡμᾶς τοῦ Λόγου, συγκαταβάσεως.

Megalynarion of St JOHN of Karpathos
Rejoice, companion of the Venerable Ones, and the divine shepherd and guide of Karpathos. Rejoice, John the treasury of grace, and our intercessor and mediator to the Lord.
