O Lord, save Thy people/ and bless Thine inheritance./ Grant Victory over their enemies to Orthodox Christians,/ and protect Thy people with Thy Cross.

Thy life became radiant with wisdom; thou didst draw down the fire of the Spirit/ and discern the doctrines of life,/ Quadratus, Apostle of Christ./ We cry to thee as to an enlightener:/ Glory to Christ Who has glorified thee; glory to Him Who has crowned thee:/ glory to Him Who through thee works healings for all.

O Holy Apostle Quadratus / Pray to our merciful God / That He may grant to our souls / Remission of our transgressions.

O Holy Apostle Kodratos, intercede with the merciful God that He grant unto our souls forgiveness of offences.

Σοφίας ταῖς ἀκτῖσι φαιδρύνας σου τὸν βίον, εἴλκυσας τοῦ Πνεύματος μάκαρ τὴν πυρίπνοον χάριν, καὶ ηὔγασας δόγματα ζωῆς, Κοδρᾶτε ὡς Ἀπόστολος Χριστοῦ· διὰ τοῦτο ὡς φωστῆρά σε ἀπλανῆ, γεραίροντες ἐκβοῶμεν· δόξα τῷ σὲ δοξάσαντι Χριστῷ, δόξα τῷ σὲ στεφανώσαντι, δόξα τῷ ἐνεργοῦντι διὰ σοῦ, πᾶσιν ἰάματα.

O lover of Orthodoxy and uprooter of schism, healer of Russia and new advocate before God, by thy writings thou didst heal the minds of the foolish. O blessed Demetrius, thou harp of the Spirit, entreat Christ God, thou our souls may be saved.
Apolytikion of Holy Prophet JONAH — Tone 3
To the Ninevites, thou wast a trumpet, blaring fearful threats of Heaven's judgments, at the which they repented with all their hearts; and from the sea-monster's belly didst thou foreshow the Lord's divine Resurrection to all the world. Hence, entreat Him to bring out of corruption all of us, who honour thee, O Jonah, as a friend of God.

Σάλπιγξ εὔηχος, θείων κριμάτων, κόσμῳ πέφηνας, ἀναφωνοῦσα, Ἰωνᾶ τοῖς Νινευΐταις μετάνοιαν· καὶ συσχεθεὶς ἐν τῷ κήτει προέγραψας, τὴν τοῦ Σωτῆρος τριήμερον ἔγερσιν· ὅθεν πρέσβευε, δοθῆναι τοῖς σὲ γεραίρουσι, πταισμάτων ἱλασμὸν καὶ μέγα ἔλεος.

O Christ our God/ Who wast voluntarily lifted up on the Cross,/ grant Thy mercies to Thy new people named after Thee./ Gladden with Thy power Orthodox Christians/ and give them victory over their enemies./ May they have as an ally/ that invincible trophy, Thy weapon of peace.

O Lord, the world offers to Thee the Apostle Quadratus as a holy Hierarch and Martyr./ As we hymn his memory we pray Thee/ to grant forgiveness to those who sing: Alleluia.

As a most honoured hierarch and athlete of great fortitude, the world doth offer Apostle Kodratos now to Thee, O Lord most merciful; as with hymns it doth honour his all-ven'rable memory, it doth ask of Thee through him to grant forgiveness of failings to them that sing his praise.
Κοντάκιον. Ἅγιος ΚΟΔΡᾶΤΟΣ — Ἦχος πλ. δ’. Ὡς ἀπαρχὰς τῆς φύσεως
Ὡς Ἱεράρχην τίμιον, καὶ Ἀθλητὴν στερρότατον, ἡ οἰκουμένη προσάγει σοι Κύριε, Κοδρᾶτον τὸν Ἀπόστολον· καὶ τοῖς ὕμνοις γεραίρει τὴν σεπτὴν αὐτοῦ μνήμην, αἰτοῦσα πάντοτε πταισμάτων ἄφεσιν, δι’ αὐτοῦ δωρηθῆναι, τοῖς μέλπουσι τοῦτον Εὔσπλαγχνε.

Preserving thyself in virginity, and pleasing Christ our God with thy asceticism, O holy Mabyn,/ thou didst give to the faithful an example of pious and godly living./ Pray that the example of our lives will also be pleasing to God,/ that our souls will be brought into the Way of Salvation.

Let us bless Demetrius, the golden-worded teacher, the star of Russia, who shone forth from Kiev, and through Novgorod Seversky, reached Rostov, and hath illumined the whole land with his teachings and miracles, for he wrote down all things which are for our edification, that, like Paul, he might win all for Christ, and save our souls through the right faith.

Thou didst pass three days and nights within the sea-monster's entrails, showing forth the Lord's descent into the belly of Hades; for when He had freely suffered His saving Passion, He arose out of the sepulchre on the third day. Hence, we honour thee, O Prophet, who wast deemed worthy to be a figure of Christ.
