ST FINBAR
ST AILBE Bishop of Emly
ST DOSITHEUS ― Clairvoyant Recluse of Kitaev Monastery near the Kiev Caves lead her life in solitude and prayer in men’s garb
Troparion of ST SERGIUS ― Tone 4
Champion of virtue and warrior of Christ,/ thou didst contend against earthly passions;/ thou wast a model to thy disciples in vigil, chant and fasting/ and the Holy Spirit came and dwelt in thee./ As thou hast boldness towards the Trinity remember thy flock/ and visit thy children as thou didst promise,/ O holy Father Sergius.
Troparion of ST SERGIUS — Tone 4
A zealot of good deeds / and a true warrior of Christ our God, / you struggled greatly against the passions in this passing life; / in songs and vigils and fasting you were an image and example to your disciples, / thus the most Holy Spirit lived within you, / and you were made beautiful by His working. / Since you have great boldness before the Holy Trinity, / remember the flock which you have wisely gathered, / and do not forget to visit your children as you promised, venerable Sergius our father!
Troparion of ST SERGIUS — Tone 4
O thou who wast a struggler for the virtues, as a true warrior of Christ God thou didst contend greatly against the passions in this transitory life, becoming a model for thy disciples in chanting, the keeping of vigils and fasts. Wherefore, the all-holy Spirit made his abode within thee, by Whose activity thou wast splen¬didly adorned. As thou hast boldness before the Holy Trinity, be thou mindful of the flock which thou hast assembled, O wise one, and forget it not, as thou hast promised, visiting thy children, O Sergius, our venerable father.
Troparion of ST EUPHROSYNE ― Tone 1
As an ascetic thou didst hide thy womanhood/ and thy falling asleep was an amazement, O Euphrosyne./ Though a woman, thou didst toil as a man/ and by thy prayers thou dost save those who honour thee.
Troparion of ST EUPHROSYNE – Tone 1
As an ascetic you hid your womanhood
And your falling-asleep was an amazement, O Euphrosyne.
Though a woman, you toiled as a man,
And by your prayers you save those who honor you!
Troparion of ST EUPHROSYNE – Tone 8
In thee, O mother, that which was created according to the image of God was manifestly saved./ For accepting thy cross thou didst follow after Christ,/ and praying thou didst learn to disdain the flesh,/ for thou didst transcend it to take care of thine immortal soul.// Wherefore, with the angels doth thy soul rejoice, O venerable Mother Euphrosyne.
Troparion of ST CAIAN ― Tone 8
The noble Brychan, obeying God's will, bestowed on the Church a galaxy of saints to illumine our land./ As in Angelsey thou didst labour for Christ, O holy Caian,/ cease not in thy labour of prayer that we may be granted salvation for our souls.
Troparion of ST FINBAR ― Tone 4
Truly thou art hymned, O Hierarch Finbar,/ as a Father of monastics and shepherd of souls./ Seeing our plight and feeling for us in our great necessity,/ cease not to intercede with Christ our God/ that He will raise up in our days pastors of thy stature to lead us into the way of Truth.
Dismissal Hymn of ST AILBE — Tone 4
When Ireland's Enlightener returned to his native land he found thee, O holy Ailbe, preaching the Faith at Emly, where at the bidding of an Angel thou hadst built a church. O wise shepherd of souls and glorious ascetic, O friend of animals, and fellow missionary with the illustrious Patrick, pray to Christ our God that we might also become bastions of Orthodoxy and a shining example to our fellow countrymen, drawing them away from ignorance and error and into the true Faith that all our souls may be saved.
Apolytikion of ST DOSITHEOS the hermit of Kiev – Tone 4
From thy youth, O modest one, consecrated to God, thou didst prove to be as a gift from Heaven to the Church of Christ, o Dositheos. Having changed thine appearance, and with it thy spirit, thou didst struggle manfully unto the end in a cave. Wherefore do we honor thee, thou boast of Kiev!

Kontakion of ST SERGIUS — Tone 8
Bound by the love of Christ, O venerable one, and following Him with unwavering desire, / you despised all carnal pleasures and you shone like the sun in your land. / Therefore, Christ has enriched you with the gift of miracles. / Remember us who venerate your most holy memory, / and who call out to you: “Rejoice, Sergius, made wise by God!”

Desiring to receive a higher life,/ thou didst zealously forsake the pleasure of life here below,/ and didst mingle with men as if a man, O most comely one./ For thou didst spurn a transitory betrothed for the sake of Christ thy Bridegroom.
