ST SYMEON THE FOOL FOR CHRIST'S SAKE AND ST JOHN HIS FELLOW ASCETIC
Holy Prophet EZEKIEL
ST PARTHENIOS Bishop of Radovisdiou
Troparion of Venerables SYMEON and JOHN — Tone 4
Righteous John and divine Symeon,/ united to God and united in soul to one another:/ one of you lived an inspired life in the desert,/ and the other by his foolishness made a fool of Belial./ Now you are rejoicing in heavenly glory: ever watch over us.
Troparion of Venerables SYMEON and JOHN — Tone 1
Having heard the voice of Your Apostle Paul: / We are fools for Christ’s sake! / Your servant Simeon, O Christ God, / Lived the life of a fool here on earth for Your sake. / Therefore as we venerate his memory, / We entreat You, O Lord, to save our souls!
Troparion of Prophet EZEKIEL — Tone 2
The memory of Your prophet Ezekiel, / We celebrate today, O Lord. / By his prayers, we beseech You, / O Christ God, save our souls!
Troparion of Prophet EZEKIEL — Tone 2
Celebrating the memory/ of Thy prophet Ezekiel O Lord,// through him do we entreat Thee, save Thou our souls.
Apolytikion of St PARTHENIOS — Tone 4
You lived blamelessly, with much humility, Venerable Parthenios, and you were made worthy to partake of divine gifts. Wherefore we fall down before your holy Skull, to receive healing, and the salvation of our souls through you Hierarch, honoring you with hymns.
Kontakion of St PARTHENIOS — Plagal Tone 4
As a most inspired Hierarch of the Savior, and an imitator and equal of the Saints, we your servants sing to you O God-bearer. As an intercessor and mediator to the Lord, entreat that we may be redeemed from all afflictions, we who cry to you, Rejoice Father Parthenios.

Kontakion of Venerables SYMEON and JOHN — Tone 2
Let us praise angelic and Godbearing Symeon/ who in the flesh appeared fleshless and shone with virtues;/ and with him let us praise glorious John,/ for they ever intercede with Christ our God for us all.
Kontakion of Venerables SYMEON and JOHN — Tone 2
Let us praise with fervent love, / This man who lived in the flesh as an angel, / Adorning his soul with the most radiant virtues! / Simeon, the equal to the Apostles and the Bearer of God. / Together with him, let us honor his companion John, / For they both ever stand before God, interceding for us all!
Kontakion of Prophet EZEKIEL — Tone 4 "Thou hast appeared today..."
Thou hast been shown to be a prophet of God,/ O wondrous Ezekiel,/ and hast proclaimed unto all the incarnation of the Lord,/ the Lamb and Creator,// the Son of God Who hath revealed Himself forever.
