You were practiced in the ways of godliness/ and gladly ran your course of martyrdom,/ and as illustrious kinsmen you were glorified by Christ./ O Floros and Lauros,/ we praise you as noble athletes,/ and we cry to you: O Saints,/ deliver us from all necessities.

Apolytikion of St ARSENIOS — Tone 1
The glory of Epiros and the boast of Paros, the protector of Dasous Monastery, we honor you O Arsenios. You were seen as an angel on earth and through asceticism received heavenly virtues, because of this you were glorified by God granting us miracles, O Father. Glory to Christ Who glorified you, Glory to Him Who showed you wondrous, Glory to Him Who granted to us an unsleeping intercessor.

Thou didst ardently emulate the spiritual endeavor of the Venerable Ascetics through a virtuous life, in recent times, O Holy Arsenios; for having led an angelic life on the island of Paros, thou didst receive from Heaven the gift of miracles, granting to those who honor thee grace and mercy.

Ὁσίων τὴν ἄσκησιν, δι’ ἐναρέτου ζωῆς, ἐνθέως ἐζήλωσας, ἐν τοῖς ἐσχάτοις καιροῖς, Ἀρσένιε Ὅσιε· σὺ γὰρ ἐν νήσῳ Πάρῳ, ἰσαγγέλως ἀσκήσας, εἴληφας οὐρανόθεν, τῶν θαυμάτων τὴν χάριν, παρέχων τοῖς σὲ τιμῶσι, χάριν καὶ ἔλεος.

Your life was a foundation of repentance / and a model of compunction, / an image of consolation and spiritual perfection, / equal to the angels, O venerable one. / You persevered in prayer, fasting and tears, O Father John; / intercede with Christ God for our souls.

Apolytikion of St MATTHEW of Crete — Tone 3
Divine offspring, of Gerakari, and ornament, of the island of Crete, you showed yourself to be blessed Matthew, in the martyric arena of Rethymno, which you performed with an undaunted spirit. Wherefore intercede, beseeching Christ God, to grant us the great mercy.

Neomartyr Constantine of Kappua, as a brave soldier of the Church of Christ, let us bless and praise O faithful, for he forcefully abandoned the impiety of his father, preaching the Savior, and having lawfully contested, he gave his head as a gift to Christ.

Κωνσταντίνον Καππούας, τον νεομάρτυρα, ως στρατιώτην γενναίον της Εκκλησίας Χριστού, μακαρίσωμεν πιστοί και επαιναίσωμεν· ότι δυσέβειαν πατρός καταλείψας σθεναρώς, εκήρυξεν τον Σωτήρα, και νομίμως υπεραθλήσας, την κάραν δέδωκεν ως δώρον Χριστώ.

The three radiant lights of the three-sunned Godhead, who shone forth radiantly from the choir of monastics, as initiates and venerators of the Theotokos, and God-bearers annointed by the command of the Pure One, Barnabas the most-exalted, and the God-bearer Sophronios, with the noble Christopher, taught by God from nothing, all of those who honor their life, let us gather and honor them with hymns, for they ever intercede with the Trinity for us.

By the annointing of the Divine Child, you abandoned the cares of life, and each were radiantly initiated into strange mysteries, as a phoenix in the courts of the Lord, you truly prospered, Barnabas, Sophronios and Christopher, intercede with Christ God, O thrice-praised Fathers, that our souls be saved.

Τῶν Ὁσίων τὸν βίον ἀκριβῶς μιμησάμενος, μέτοχος αὐτῶν ἀνεδείχθης, θεοφόρε Σωφρόνιε· ὁσίως γὰρ βιώσας ἐπὶ γῆς, τῶν θείων δωρεῶν ἐν οὐρανοῖς, ἠξιώθης καὶ παρέχεις πᾶσιν ἡμῖν, τὴν χάριν σου τοῖς κράζουσι· δόξα τῷ δεδωκότι σοι ἰσχύν, δόξα τῷ σὲ στεφανώσαντι, δόξα τῷ ἐκπληροῦντι διὰ σοῦ, ἡμῶν τὰ αἰτήματα.

Neither the tomb nor death could hold the Theotokos,/ who is sleepless in her intercessions and an unchanging hope in her mediations./ For as the Mother of Life she was transferred to life/ by Him Who dwelt in her ever-virgin womb.

Today the universe honours glorious Floros and Lauros as wise, godly martyrs and champions of Christ.; By their prayers may we receive grace and mercy / and be delivered from evil and temptations,/ and from wrath and affliction on the Judgment Day.

The whole world doth ail-gloriously honor Florus and Laurus today,/ as martyrs of piety and divinely wise athletes of Christ,/ that we may receive grace and mercy through their prayers,/ and may be delivered from tribulations and dangers,// and from wrath and sorrow on the day of judgment.

To thee, O God-inspired Father, we chant hymns of praise, as an imitator and peer of the Venerables, and a most divine servant of the Savior. Being full of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, bestow always thine abundant grace upon us, who cry unto thee: Rejoice, Father Arsenios.

Σύμφρων καὶ ὁμόψυχος ἐν παντί, ἡ τῶν αὐταδέλφων, ἀναδέδεικται ξυνωρίς, Φλῶρός τε καὶ Λαῦρος, ἐν βίῳ καὶ ἐν ἄθλοις· διὸ καὶ ἰσοτίμως ἐμεγαλύνθησαν.

Rejoice, heavenly athlete of Rethymno, martyred for Christ. Rejoice, the horn that crushed the unbelievers, by your confession, glorious Matthew.
