Apolytikion of ST PATAPIUS — Tone 3
Thou didst follow the divine call from thy youth, and illumine the world with the gifts of thy holy labours. Thou wast made glorious with the grace of dispassion, and dost heal various passions. O Patapios, venerable Father, pray to Christ our God to grant us His great mercy.
Troparion of ST PATAPIUS — Tone 8
The image of God was truly preserved in you, O Father, / for you took up the Cross and followed Christ. / By so doing you taught us to disregard the flesh for it passes away / but to care instead for the soul, since it is immortal. / Therefore your spirit, venerable Patapius, rejoices with the angels.

The image of God, was faithfully preserved in you, O Father. For you took up the Cross and followed Christ. By Your actions you taught us to look beyond the flesh for it passes, rather to be concerned about the soul which is immortal. Wherefore, O Holy Patapiosyour soul rejoices with the angels.

Λουτρακίου τὸ κλέος, Κορινθίας τὸ καύχημα, καὶ τῶν ἀρετῶν τὸ δοχεῖον, θεοφόρον Πατάπιον, τιμήσωμεν ἐν ὕμνοις ἱεροῖς· ἰάσεις γὰρ παρέχει δαψιλεῖς, τοῖς τῇ θήκῃ τοῦ λειψάνου αὐτοῦ πιστῶς, προστρέχουσι καὶ κράζουσι· δόξα τῷ σὲ δοξάσαντι Χριστῷ, δόξα τῷ σὲ θαυμαστώσαντι, δόξα τῷ ἐνεργοῦντι διὰ σοῦ, πᾶσιν ἰάματα.

The people find thy temple a place of healing/ and flock to it eagerly, O Patapius./ They ask for the healing of their diseases/ and the forgiveness of their sins./ For thou art a protector of all in need.

Πάσης θλίψεως καὶ νόσου ἀπολύτρωσαι

As a disciple and follower of Paul, you joyfully fought the good fight for the faith, raising up the torch of truth and bringing enlightenment to the nations. For this, All-revered Tychicus, honoring you we now cry out: Rejoice the chosen vessel of Christ, rejoice apostle of God, and do intercede that we all be granted redemption.
