Troparion of the Mother of God — Tone 4
Today is the prelude of God's good will/ and the prophecy of the salvation of men./ The Virgin appears openly in the temple of God/ and foretells Christ to all./ So let us cry to her with loud voices:/ Rejoice, thou who art the fulfillment/ of the Creator's providence.

Today is the prelude of God's good will/ and the proclamation of the salvation of men./ The Virgin hath manifestly appeared in the temple of God/ and proclaimeth Christ unto all./ To her let us cry aloud:/ Rejoice, O thou fulfillment// of the Creator's dispensation!
Ἀπολυτίκιον τῆς ἑορτῆς — Ἦχος δ’
Σήμερον τῆς εὐδοκίας Θεοῦ τὸ προοίμιον, καὶ τῆς τῶν ἀνθρώπων σωτηρίας ἡ προκήρυξις· ἐν Ναῷ τοῦ Θεοῦ, τρανῶς ἡ Παρθένος δείκνυται, καὶ τὸν Χριστὸν τοῖς πᾶσι προκαταγγέλεται. Αὐτῇ καὶ ἡμεῖς, μεγαλοφώνως βοήσωμεν· χαῖρε τῆς οἰκονομίας, τοῦ Κτίστου ἡ ἐκπλήρωσης.

Rome was shocked by the severity of thy Rule, O Father Columban,/ but never daunted thou didst not waver in thy condemnation of spiritual and moral laxity./ Standing firmly in the tradition of the fathers of the Thebaid, thou art a tower of strength to us sinners,/ wherefore O Saint, do thou entreat Christ our God that He will grant mercy to our souls.

O son of Constantine and servant of God, Righteous Digain,/ thou dost teach us by thy example that no man is too mighty to humbly serve Christ and labour for His Holy Church./ Therefore, O holy one, pray to God for us that He will grant us the grace of humility,/ the joy of service and salvation for our souls.

The most pure Temple of the Saviour,/ the most precious bridal chamber and Virgin,/ the sacred treasury of the glories of God,/ today enters into the house of the Lord,/ bringing with her the grace that is the Divine Spirit./ And the Angels of God sing of her:/ This is the heavenly tabernacle.
Kontakion of the Mother of God — Tone 4
The most pure Temple of the Savior; / the precious Chamber and Virgin; / the sacred Treasure of the glory of God, / is presented today to the house of the Lord. / She brings with her the grace of the Spirit, / therefore, the angels of God praise her: / “Truly this woman is the abode of heaven.”

The most pure temple of the Savior,/ the precious bridal chamber and Virgin,/ the sacred treasury of the glory of God,/ is on this day brought into the house of the Lord,/ bringing with her the grace that is in the divine Spirit./ To her do the angels of God chant the hymn:// She is the heavenly tabernacle!

Ὁ καθαρώτατος ναὸς τοῦ Σωτῆρος, ἡ πολυτίμητος παστὰς καὶ Παρθένος, τὸ ἱερὸν θησαύρισμα τῆς δόξης τοῦ Θεοῦ, σήμερον εἰσάγεται, ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ Κυρίου, τὴν χάριν συνεισάγουσα, τὴν ἐν Πνευματι θείῳ· ἣν ἀνυμνοῦσιν Ἄγγελοι Θεοῦ. Αὕτη ὑπάρχει σκηνὴ ἐπουράνιος.
